Job summary

Meridian OneCap Credit Corp. in Hamilton, ON, is seeking a Relationship Manager/Senior Relationship Manager to oversee a portfolio of mid-size commercial accounts with lending needs.

You will analyze financial statements, structure credit and cash management solutions, and focus on growing profitability while minimizing risk. The successful candidate will bring 2–5 years of commercial lending experience, strong relationship-building skills, and knowledge of real estate/ construction financing.

Qualifications

• University degree in Business or Finance or related discipline or equivalent
• 2–5 years of progressive commercial lending experience in sales/service
• Experience in structuring medium to large real estate and construction financing an advantage
• Strong knowledge of banking policies and credit risk

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a profitable commercial financing portfolio
• Structure, negotiate and document credit and cash management arrangements
• Analyze financial statements and cash flow for member credit needs
• Monitor profitability and risk of accounts and develop remediation plans
• Generate credit and deposit opportunities in assigned region through referrals and networking
• Maintain sales plan with outbound calls, marketing and cross-selling
• Mentor less experienced colleagues in account management and credit structuring
