Job summary

CIBC is seeking a Sr. Analyst, IT Quality Assurance in Toronto. The role involves developing and executing test scenarios across platforms, documenting criteria, and presenting results.

You will troubleshoot issues and train less experienced staff while maintaining test configurations, with day-to-day autonomy in resolving complex problems. The position is on-site full-time with a hybrid work model (1–3 days on-site).

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in Software Testing Life Cycle and testing methodologies including Agile or Waterfall.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or technical discipline.
• Demonstrated client focus, collaboration, and results-driven attitude.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and translate them into testing criteria; manage end-to-end testing for projects with onsite and offshore teams.
• Build strong client relationships, respond to inquiries, and ensure client satisfaction; collaborate with test leads, BAs and developers to define test plans and standards.
• Monitor quality adherence and report testing status; ensure processes and standards are followed throughout the SDLC and address testing challenges.
