Job summary

Sunnybrook Foundation seeks a Senior Financial Analyst – Financial Reporting to join the Finance team at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. You will produce monthly financial statements, support annual budgeting, and manage compliance reporting for Canadian and US charity requirements.

The role partners with internal stakeholders and external auditors, helps with gifts and tax receipting, and contributes to enhanced reporting and analysis in a Not-for-Profit setting.

Qualifications

• College diploma or university degree in accounting or business administration.
• Enrolled in CPA program is considered an asset.
• Not-for-Profit sector experience preferred.
• Approximately 5 years accounting experience in automated environments.

Responsibilities

• Produce monthly financial statements and analyze revenue/expenses.
• Lead annual budgeting and planning with consolidation and reviews.
• Prepare Canadian and US year-end charity information returns.
• Manage stock gift valuations and tax receipting accuracy.
• Support investment cash flow analysis and monthly reporting.
