Job summary

Luminultra is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our finance team in Fredericton, NB. This hybrid role combines financial analysis, forecasting, and performance reporting to support operational improvements.

You will partner with department leaders, analyze profitability, develop models, and contribute to budgeting and long-range planning. This position is ideal for a detail‑oriented finance professional familiar with ERP (Oracle), CRM data, and BI tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or business analytics.
• Proven ability to partner with senior executives (C/VP level) to influence decisions.
• Strong Excel and financial modelling capabilities.
• Experience with ERP systems; Oracle is required.
• Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM data.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Oracle Analytics, or similar BI tools is a plus.
• Knowledge of IFRS is a plus.
• Fluency in French is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Partner with department leaders to provide financial insight supporting operational and strategic decisions.
• Identify trends, risks, inefficiencies, and opportunities using financial data.
• Perform variance analysis and explain drivers behind results.
• Analyze profitability by product, customer, channel, region, and business unit.
• Develop financial models, scenario analyses, and business cases for initiatives and investments.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
• Support month-end reporting with meaningful management commentary.
• Present findings to financial and non-financial audiences.
• Suggest process improvements to improve scalability and profitability.
• Contribute as Finance SME on finance-related tech implementations.
