Job summary

Intact Financial Corporation is seeking a Senior Business Analyst with deep experience in financial data systems to join our Business Data & Design team. You will lead end-to-end requirements and drive data integration projects from design through delivery.

You will work with finance, IT, and operations to optimize data flows, document transformations, and ensure alignment with business needs. Strong ETL, SQL, and communication skills are essential, with IFRS17/CPA assets highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, information systems management, business intelligence, or an equivalent combo of education and experience.
• CPA designation and IFRS17 experience are assets.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience as a business analyst for a finance team and/or financial systems.
• Excellent communication skills to gather and present requirements to colleagues and executives.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support requirement gathering meetings with finance or technical advisors and translate them into clear documentation.
• Conduct data queries and analyses, challenge requirements, and propose data flows or updates.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and document data integration and transformation solutions.
• Present in peer reviews or executive meetings to validate functional requirements for development.
• Track progress and manage tasks to meet deadlines and testing requirements.
• Support the testing team with data preparation and validations.
