Job summary

Merrithew is seeking a Sales Support & Customer Service Coordinator in the Scarborough/Toronto area to manage daily Merrithew.com orders, handle in-bound inquiries and provide sales support across teams. This role requires a hands-on, high-volume service mindset and collaboration across departments.

The ideal candidate has post-secondary education with 2+ years in phone sales and customer service, strong CRM knowledge, and excellent organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education and 2 years of phone sales and customer service experience.
• Proven ability to meet and exceed targets.
• Knowledge of CRM, ACCPAC and Edisoft Merchant an asset.
• Detail-oriented with excellent accuracy in entering PO information, shipping addresses, tracking numbers.
• Superior organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Ability to work well under pressure, demonstrating a sense of urgency.
• Effective communication skills, verbal and written.
• Intermediate MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Bilingual or second language would be an asset.

Responsibilities

• Processing www.merrithew.com web orders and shipping confirmations; contacting potential web customers with unfinished transactions.
• Answering inbound calls and messages; providing timely product information to clients.
• Providing excellent customer service to ensure satisfaction and resolve conflicts.
• Processing returns and issuing credit memos.
• Tracking customer service issues in CRM.
• Processing orders for event-specific sales programs (Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Free Freight).
• Monitoring reports: open orders, unprocessed web orders, web orders not shipped/invoiced, opportunities and shipping priorities.
• Providing and receiving account coverage within Commercial Sales Support and CSR teams.
• Working pre-arranged stat holidays; cross-training on key accounts.
