Stantec is seeking a Project Controls professional to support planning, budgeting, scheduling, and risk assessment across transportation and water projects in Canada. You will collaborate with project managers and finance to ensure on-time delivery and profitability.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Hybrid/office-based work options apply depending on location and business needs.

Formación

• Education: Bachelor's degree or diploma in engineering, Project Management or Financial accounting.
• Experience: 5+ years of related project controls, project coordination/ management experience.
• Previous experience working with engineering or other professional services strongly preferred.
• Bilingualism with fluency in French is a strong asset.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain detailed project budgets, forecasts (EAC/ETC), and cash flow projections.
• Establish and manage cost and schedule control structures (WBS) aligned with project scope and execution plans.
• Monitor project performance using earned value and other key performance indicators; identify trends, risks, and variances.
• Provide guidance on project controls best practices and mentor junior project controls staff as needed.
• Support development and maintenance of project schedules in coordination with Project Managers and discipline leads.
• Analyze schedule impacts, critical path, and resource loading where applicable.
• Coordinate with Finance on project budget changes, invoicing support, and other activities as required.
