Job summary

Manulife, based in Toronto, Ontario, is seeking an experienced data and analytics professional for its Risk Technology team. The hybrid role focuses on designing data-driven solutions, requirements, and documentation to support Global Risk Management.

The candidate will analyze large datasets, perform cost-benefit analyses, and collaborate in an agile environment to enable effective risk reporting and system enhancements.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of analytics, technology, or risk-related experience.
• Strong SQL, data modelling, and dashboard development with Qlik/Tableau/Power BI.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Analytics; master’s degree is an asset.
• Expertise in system design, business analysis, and UAT.
• Experience with AI-assisted SDLC and eGRC tools (e.g., Archer) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop business requirements, technical specifications, and documentation for Risk Technology initiatives.
• Analyze complex datasets and design data-driven solutions with management.
• Conduct cost-benefit analyses to support budgeting and resourcing decisions.
• Review workflows, identify training needs, and support system implementations.
• Collaborate in agile delivery and support user acceptance testing standards.
• Facilitate communication and training for team members and stakeholders.
• Research and document business issues related to workflows and system design.
