Job summary

Questrade Financial Group is seeking a Strategy Advisor, Identity & Access Management to own the enterprise IAM strategy across its regulated entities. You will set direction, standards and a multi-year roadmap for workforce identity, privileged access, IGA and non-human identity, leading the IAM team to deliver these outcomes.

This leadership role requires deep experience in regulated environments, collaboration with architecture, cloud, security and compliance teams, and the ability to govern

Qualifications

• 10+ years of cybersecurity experience with substantial IAM leadership, including ownership of enterprise IAM strategy in financial services.
• End-to-end delivery of complex IAM programs from strategy through operationalization.
• Experience with privileged access management, IGA, and non-human identities.
• Hybrid/enterprise identity architecture across AD, Entra and cloud platforms.
• Ability to interact with regulators, auditors and governance bodies.

Responsibilities

• Own enterprise IAM strategy, standards, roadmap and governance for workforce, privileged access, IGA and non-human identity.
• Lead requirements-first selection of identity platforms and vendors with documented decisions.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, cloud, DevSecOps, GRC, Privacy, Legal and People & Culture to sponsor identity-related changes.
• Mentor and develop the IAM team; forecast resourcing and manage budgets.
• Produce audit-ready evidence and coordinate with regulators and external examinations.
