Job summary

Global Technical Talent is seeking a Senior Consultant, Authentication Services in Toronto, ON. This contract role focuses on IAM, risk-based authentication, and zero-trust initiatives within a large financial services context.

The candidate will interface with business units, lead security assessments, and guide strategic implementation of MFA and access controls. The role emphasizes collaboration with senior leaders, delivery excellence, and hybrid work arrangements (1–2 days on-site).

Qualifications

• 7–10 years IAM experience as an Information Security Consultant or similar role
• Knowledge of leading market tools (Microsoft, CyberArk, ForgeRock) and their MFA solutions
• Knowledge of OAuth, SAML, OpenID, FIDO, SSO and web protocols XML, SOAP, JSON, REST
• Working experience on cloud environment like Azure
• Hands-on working knowledge of ITIL Service Lifecycle
• Experience with implementation and adoption of Adaptive MFA capabilities and definition of access policies
• Leadership & Communication — ability to collaborate with senior leaders across the company and make informed recommendations to enhance information system security
• Strong presentation skills; candidates will be presenting to key stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Act as interface with business to assess high-profile security projects and present practical recommendations
• Collaborate with senior management to prepare management reporting of security engagements
• Direct review, testing and implementation of security products and control techniques
• Provide technical leadership, interpreting complex information and evaluating proposed security systems
• Develop methods and guidance for supporting clients, management, security operations and network operations
• Promote adoption of Zero Trust concepts and risk-based access policies
