Job summary

LMI Technologies, a leader in 2D/3D inline inspection, seeks a Technical Product Manager (Hardware & Accessories) to drive growth through new product development, sourcing, and implementation. You’ll translate requirements into specs, coordinate cross-functional initiatives, and track progress with stakeholders across departments.

The ideal candidate has a mechanical/electrical/physics background, 3–5 years in hardware PM, and experience with embedded electronics, machine vision, and 3D

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering in a related field.
• Proven ability to work in a multidisciplinary product development environment with customer-facing interactions.
• 3–5 years of project/product management in hardware development, preferably with 3rd party suppliers.
• Experience with embedded electronics, machine vision, electro-optical systems, and/or 3D measurement is an asset.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly convey technical issues.
• Familiarity with Jira, MS Office and Google Docs.

Responsibilities

• Translate high level product requirements into technical specifications.
• Coordinate implementation of new products with development, sales, marketing and support teams.
• Track and provide updates on project status and user feedback for internal/external customers.
• Review proposed solutions with stakeholders to ensure market needs are met.
• Facilitate technical discussions across groups and perform trade-off analyses.
• Address complex problems with innovative solutions to meet business needs.
• International travel as required (typically < 3 times per year).
