Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an Endpoint Security Specialist in Kimberley to enhance and manage endpoint security across the organization. You will deploy and monitor EDR and antivirus, tune performance, and provide guidance to users on security best practices.

The role requires a strong technical background in endpoint security technologies, a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, and 2–4 years in a related cybersecurity role. A hybrid work model supports flexible work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2–4 years of endpoint security experience.
• Hands-on with EDR solutions such as CrowdStrike or SentinelOne.
• Strong OS security knowledge: Windows, macOS, Linux.
• Excellent troubleshooting and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and manage endpoint security solutions (EDR, antivirus, host-based firewalls).
• Monitor alerts, investigate threats, and respond to incidents.
• Develop and maintain endpoint security policies and configurations.
• Perform health checks and performance tuning of agents and systems.
• Provide user support on endpoint security issues.
• Stay updated on threats and adapt security measures.
