Finning Canada is seeking an Electrical Inspector in British Columbia to support customer‑owned Electric Rope Shovels and enhance equipment performance in line with Caterpillar OEM standards. Qualifications
- Seasoned electrician or P.Eng with significant electrical experience or mining background.
- Experience in a customer service role.
- Knowledge of Electric Rope Shovel and/or Rotary Blast Drill.
- Siemens or Allen-Bradley PLC and motor drive experience.
Responsibilities
- Advise customers on component changes based on machine audits.
- Support troubleshooting to minimize shovel downtime and meet production schedules.
- Schedule visits, set agendas, and write technical reports for customers.
- Provide analysis and recommended service options to customers.
