Job summary

NAIT is seeking a Director of Operations to translate strategy into operating plans for corporate training delivery, continuing education programs, curriculum development and operations enablement. You will oversee a $6M expense budget and supervise managers across several teams.

The role drives service standards, performance, and professional development while coordinating with key institutional partners to align activities with policies and priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant business, management, education or related discipline.
• Extensive and relevant work experience in operational leadership and management of teams.
• Strong financial acumen and budgeting experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement operating plans, service standards and performance measures.
• Setting manager objectives, reviewing performance, coaching leaders and supporting succession and professional development.
• Oversee training delivery, continuing education programs and curriculum development through the managers.
• Develop and monitor budgets and forecasts with managers and Finance. Analyze variances and allocate resources.
• Coordinate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on committees and projects.
