Job summary

Southlake Health in Newmarket, ON is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform general, obstetrical, small parts and peripheral vascular exams with patient-centered care. You will work within an inter-professional team, ensuring high-quality imaging and communication.

The role requires 1–2 years of diagnostic sonography experience, graduation from an accredited program, and active CMRITO registration. CME credits and professional growth are emphasized in a hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of diagnostic medical sonography experience.
• Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program recognized by Sonography Canada.
• Registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO).
• Professional liability insurance through Sonography Canada or OAMRS recommended.

Responsibilities

• Perform general, obstetrical, small parts, and peripheral vascular ultrasound exams.
• Deliver safe, accurate, patient-centered care in line with professional standards.
• Collaborate with patients, families and healthcare team for exceptional care.
• Maintain 25 CME credits per year to support professional growth.
