Job summary

Linux Association of Canada seeks a Solution Engineer - DevOps to drive CI/CD modernization in Halifax. You will migrate teams from Jenkins or manual deployments to GitHub Actions, build automation, and debug complex pipelines.

You will implement configurations, write POM/Settings from scratch, and manage Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud-native tooling while collaborating closely with agile teams.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and toolchains.
• Experience creating and debugging pipeline stages.
• Strong understanding of build systems (Maven, NPM, PyPI, .NET, MSBuild).
• Ability to write POM and Settings files from scratch.
• Proficiency with GitHub Actions workflows, execution, and runners.
• Jenkins pipelines experience and troubleshooting.
• Experience with SonarQube, Terraform, and Ansible.

Responsibilities

• Support app teams to migrate from Jenkins, RLM or manual deployment to GitHub Actions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve DevOps-related issues across environments.
• Create and debug CI/CD pipeline stages and workflows.
• Implement automation and configurations for successful integration.
• Write POM and Settings from scratch across multiple code bases.
• Set up GitHub Actions workflows, execution and runners.
