Job summary

TMX Group is seeking a DevOps Engineer for Level 2 Application Support in Toronto. You will contribute to automation, reliability, and rapid delivery for critical production systems.

The role requires hands-on DevOps experience, scripting in Python and Shell, and strong Kubernetes-related tooling. You will work in a hybrid model, collaborating across Agile teams to enable secure, scalable infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 1 year of hands-on DevOps/operations experience.
• Experience maintaining distributed systems.
• Python and Bash/shell scripting from scratch.
• Kubernetes, Helm, ArgoCD, Rancher expertise.
• Cloud exposure (Azure, GCP or AWS).
• Proficient with Linux and Windows environments.
• Strong debugging, automation and documentation skills.
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 DevOps support for production systems.
• Collaborate with Agile teams to deliver reliable platforms.
• Automate infrastructure and deployments using CI/CD.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement performance improvements.
• Maintain security, availability and cost efficiency.
