Job summary

Mariner Innovations seeks a seasoned Solution Architect to design and guide the delivery of scalable, secure technology solutions across Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. You will translate business needs into architectural strategies, drive architecture artifacts, and lead design initiatives with stakeholders and project teams.

The role requires extensive enterprise architecture experience, strong communication, and the ability to manage risk while aligning with governance and standards.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Solution Architect, Enterprise Architect, Technical Architect, or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, enterprise applications, integration patterns, and modern architecture frameworks.
• Experience creating architecture artifacts, technical design documents, and solution roadmaps.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and risk management capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across business and technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end technology solutions that align with business and technical requirements.
• Develop architecture models, solution blueprints, and technical design documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative and effective solutions.
• Assess and mitigate technical, security, and operational risks throughout the solution lifecycle.
• Provide architectural leadership and guidance during project planning and implementation.
• Ensure solutions adhere to enterprise standards, governance frameworks, and best practices.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems and processes.
• Support stakeholders in defining roadmaps and technology strategies that enable business objectives.
