Job summary

ShyftLabs is seeking a DevOps Engineer to partner with development teams and accelerate deployment, testing, and release of applications. You will automate infrastructure, ensure high availability, and optimize performance across production, QA and development environments.

The role requires 3+ years in DevOps, Linux (RHEL), and strong automation experience. A hybrid work model in Toronto with a competitive salary is offered.

Qualifications

• BS degree in CS, Engineering or related IT field.
• 3+ years of professional DevOps experience.
• Experience with Linux (RHEL) based infrastructure.
• Strong scripting and automation skills.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and monitoring tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize and deliver cloud solutions and infrastructure across environments.
• Troubleshoot scalability, availability, performance, and backups.
• Evaluate tools and processes to improve speed and efficiency.
• Monitor performance with AWS CloudWatch, NewRelic, and similar tools.
• Collaborate with developers on seamless deployment of software.
• Maintain infrastructure performance and document processes.
