Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil, building science or architectural science engineering.
• P.Eng designation required or in progress.
• Minimum six years of failure and damage analysis experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform and manage building science and structural failure investigations and determine root and cause of failure and damage to buildings, foundations, structures, and building envelope systems.
• Attend client meetings and on-site inspections, perform surveys and condition assessments and gather evidence; review drawings, codes, and material specs.
• Collaborate with experts to deliver robust analytical reports and provide testimony in court if required.
• Coach and mentor early career staff and participate in business development and industry events.
• Follow HSE guidelines and ensure safety of self and others on sites.
