Job summary

Scotiabank is seeking an Intermediate Business Analyst to join our team for an initial 6-month contract, with a possibility of extension. The role requires collaboration with technology and business units to ensure data quality and effective testing.

The position is based in Toronto with in-office work twice a week, offering exposure to financial services projects and data-driven initiatives within a Top 5 Canadian bank.

Qualifications

• Understanding of the financial services industry.
• Proficiency with Word and Excel (MS Office) required.

Responsibilities

• Review and update credit data in the system of record to align with authorized transactions.
• Support data backfill exercises to capture new digitized capabilities.
• Coordinate data repairs and complete required testing.
• Respond to end user escalations and coordinate with Technology for investigations.
• Prepare and execute Business Acceptance Testing for new features.
• Perform additional ad hoc tasks as assigned by management.
