Newcom Media Inc. is seeking a dynamic Media Sales Representative to join our Insurance Group, supporting Canadian Underwriter. The role blends in-office collaboration in Etobicoke with remote work, driving revenue through multi-platform advertising solutions.

You will cultivate new business, nurture relationships with agencies, and represent Canadian Underwriter at events. A proven hunter with digital media experience and industry acumen will thrive here.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of sales experience with a track record of meeting/exceeding targets.
• Hunter and acquisition-based selling for digital, sponsorships and print.
• Strong understanding of digital advertising, social media campaigns, and multimedia campaigns.
• Experience in media sales, both digital and print, is preferred.
• Existing advertising agency or industry relationships is an asset.
• Experience or knowledge of the insurance industry is an asset.
• Willingness to travel and attend industry events as required.
• Valid driver’s licence and access to a personal vehicle.

Responsabilités

• Drive revenue growth by selling advertising, sponsorships, and multi-platform marketing solutions across products.
• Prospect and pursue new business opportunities for Canadian Underwriter across digital, print, custom content, social, and sponsorships.
• Meet with customers/advertising agencies to develop new business and maintain relationships.
• Develop strong relationships with customers, agencies, and industry contacts.
• Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and customized solutions.
• Build and manage a healthy pipeline of new business opportunities.
• Represent Canadian Underwriter at conferences and industry events.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop creative ideas and campaigns.
• Manage multiple campaigns across products/platforms while meeting deadlines and targets.
