Job summary

Net2Source is seeking a Core Network SME in Brampton, ON, for a 6-12 month horizon. The role involves supporting packet core platforms (5G/LTE/3G), configuring and validating HLD/LLD docs, and performing diagnostics across AMF/SMF and EPC nodes.

The position is hybrid (2-3 days in the office) in a demanding telecom environment. You will automate workflows, manage CNF/VNF lifecycles, and contribute to end-to-end testing and KPI reporting while ensuring seamless operation of packet data services.

Qualifications

• Subject matter expert with wireless with packet core experience on 5G/LTE/3G technology
• 5G Standalone Core (5GC): AMF/SMF; EPC: MME/PGW/SGW/HSS/ePDG; support operations and troubleshooting
• Utilize cloud and virtualization tools to automate workflows, CNF/VNF lifecycle management, testing and KPI reporting
• Top-tier fault identification, isolation, analysis, and resolution for IP & Access networks
• Design and implement automations across Network Operations; scripts and tools usage

Responsibilities

• Provide expert support for change control including impact analysis and verification
• Maintain network design and support documentation for IP & Access platforms
• Engage in performance and fault analysis with deep investigations and resolution strategies
• Communicate with engineering on design issues and network performance
• Willing to work in an on-call environment
