Job summary

Tilray Brands, Inc. is seeking an HVAC Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC and environmental control systems across greenhouse, production, and storage facilities.

The role emphasizes maintaining optimal environmental conditions to support product quality, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency, with a focus on energy efficiency and continuous improvement. A diploma in HVAC and a valid license are required, with 5+ years of experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certification in HVAC, Refrigeration, or a related field.
• Valid HVAC/refrigeration license (as required by provincial regulations).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in an HVAC role.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
• Demonstrated experience troubleshooting and repairing HVAC systems.
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, service, and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems across greenhouse, production, and storage environments.
• Monitor, maintain, and optimize environmental control systems, including temperature, humidity, ventilation, and airflow.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system issues and implement timely and effective corrective actions.
• Execute preventative maintenance programs to reduce equipment downtime and extend asset lifespan.
• Operate and troubleshoot automated systems, including sensors, control panels, and PLCs.
• Ensure proper air quality, filtration, and environmental conditions are consistently maintained across the facility.
• Calibrate and maintain thermostats, humidistats, and environmental monitoring equipment.
• Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals to support installation and repairs.
• Maintain accurate service records, maintenance logs, and compliance documentation.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards, environmental regulations, and site-specific biosecurity protocols.
• Provide technical guidance and training to operations staff on HVAC system functionality and best practices.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives, including energy efficiency and system optimization projects.
