Qualifications

• Grade 12 diploma or equivalent.
• Gas Technician II (G2) license.
• 313D Air Conditioning Mechanic Certificate of Qualification (C of Q).
• Valid Ozone Depletion Prevention (ODP) certification.
• Valid Class G Ontario Driver’s Licence with a clean driving record.
• 3–5 years of experience servicing HVAC equipment and related systems.

Responsibilities

• Service, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC equipment in residential and light commercial environments.
• Install and service HVAC equipment and accessories according to standards and codes.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration issues and provide solutions.

About The Position

We are looking for an experienced and dependable HVAC Technician to join our growing team in Cambridge, Ontario. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, troubleshooting, repairing, and installing HVAC equipment while providing exceptional service to our customers.

What You’ll Do

• Service, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC equipment in residential and light commercial environments.


• Professionally install and service HVAC equipment and accessories in accordance with manufacturer specifications, Ontario codes, and industry standards.


• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration‑related issues and provide effective solutions.


• Ensure all installations and repairs are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.


• Explain equipment operation, maintenance requirements, and recommendations clearly to customers.


• Build positive, professional relationships with customers and deliver outstanding customer service.


• Identify additional repair, maintenance, or replacement opportunities when appropriate.


• Complete service documentation, job reports, and required paperwork accurately.


• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.


• Maintain the company vehicle, tools, and equipment in a clean, safe, and professional condition.


• Stay current with new HVAC technologies, equipment, and industry practices.


• Participate in training and professional development programs.

What You Bring

• Grade 12 diploma or equivalent.


• Gas Technician II (G2) license.


• 313D Air Conditioning Mechanic Certificate of Qualification (C of Q).

• 3–5 years of experience servicing HVAC equipment, water heaters, furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, or related equipment is an asset.

• Willingness to work rotating shifts, evenings, weekends, or standby duties when required.


• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.


• Physically capable of lifting approximately 15 kg to shoulder height and performing regular bending, kneeling, squatting, climbing, and other physical tasks associated with HVAC work.


• Must be willing to wear a company‑provided uniform and maintain a professional appearance.
