Job summary

Right Time Heating and Air Conditioning in Edmonton seeks energetic Service Technicians to perform onsite installations, service and repairs in residential homes. A minimum of 3 years HVAC experience with exposure to furnaces, central and ductless ACs, water heaters including tankless.

Candidates must have a Gas Fitter B License or be in 4th year Journeyman of related trades, a valid driver's license and clear criminal record.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years recent HVAC experience (furnaces, central and ductless AC, water heaters incl. tankless)
• Gas Fitter B license or 4th year Journeyman in related trades (sheet metal, refrigeration, plumbing)
• Valid driver’s license with clean record
• Criminal background check required and satisfactory

Responsibilities

• Perform onsite installations, service and repairs in residential homes
• Meet or exceed Technical Standards & Safety Authority codes and municipal building codes
• Follow Energy Star installation processes and procedures
• Educate customers on proper care and maintenance of HVAC systems
• Complete general and specific HVAC equipment inspections
• Maintain a clean, fully stocked vehicle
• Promote products and services on every call and deliver a five-star experience

What we are looking for:

We require energetic, motivated and career-minded Service Technicians to be responsible for performing onsite installations, service and repairs in residential homes.

• A minimum of 3 years recent HVAC experience with exposure to furnaces, central and ductless air conditioners, water heaters including tankless heaters
• Valid Gas Fitter B License or 4th year/Journeyman of related trades (sheet metal, refrigeration or plumbing)
• Valid Driver's License with a clean record
• Clear criminal record
• Must have demonstrated strong technical, customer service skills and company metrics in current and previous roles.
• Must be effective at HVAC lead generation and CPP enrolments.
• Comfortable working from heights and using a ladder
• An accountable and responsible personality, delivering high customer satisfaction and has a positive, can-do attitude
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively within a team environment, completing the installation and commissioning of HVAC elements

What will you do:

We want our Technicians to become masters of their trade and always give customers the red carpet treatment advising them on potential services or treatments that work for them.

• Ensure customers heating, ventilation, and air-condition equipment meets or exceeds the Technical Standards & Safety Authority’s codes and municipal building codes and standards.
• Follow all Energy Star installation processes and procedures.
• Educate customers on proper care and maintenance and promote all various HVAC options
• Complete general and specific HVAC equipment inspections
• Maintain a clean, fully stocked vehicle
• Promote our products and services on every call
• Provide a five-star experience on every call or make it right before leaving the customers home
• Feel comfortable requesting online reviews from customers.
• Contribute to our high standards of health and safety
