Zusammenfassung

Merit Ontario is seeking a Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Systems Mechanic to install, maintain and repair HVAC systems for new construction projects across mid-rise buildings, hotels, and commercial spaces in Kitchener, Ontario.

You will report to the VP of Mechanical Divisions and bring strong knowledge of HVAC design, safety, and code compliance while collaborating with other trades and mentoring apprentices on job sites.

Qualifikationen

• HVAC system design, operation, and local codes knowledge.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manuals.
• Strong safety and regulatory compliance
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Able to read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals.

Aufgaben

• Install, maintain and repair refrigeration, heating and air conditioning systems on new construction projects.
• Perform inspections and tests to ensure safety and performance standards.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC malfunctions and perform timely repairs.
• Collaborate with plumbers, electricians, and construction crews for integrated systems.
• Mentor apprentices and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
