CHRIS Air Conditioning is looking for a HVAC and Refrigeration Technician (3rd / 4th Year Apprentice or Journeyman) to join our growing team as we continue to provide commercial HVAC&R solutions throughout the Lower Mainland.

What you do

• Conduct maintenance, service and installation of HVAC and refrigeration equipment
• Complete work reports in a detailed and timely manner
• Provide on-the-job updates to the operations manager as necessary
• Work with HVAC suppliers to obtain parts and material crucial to job completion
• Perform emergency repairs promptly and efficiently
• Maintain service van inventory and organization
• Comply with service standards, work instructions and customers' requirements

What you bring

• Technical knowledge of commercial HVAC & refrigeration systems, repair, installation, and maintenance
• Practical experience in working with small, medium and large commercial buildings
• Good analytical skills and attention to detail is required
• Ability to work both under supervision and independently
• Personal hand tools and steel toe boots
• Class 5 licence and clean drivers abstract
• Excellent customer service skills with desire to exceed expectations
• An enthusiastic approach to learning
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Must be a registered apprentice with the ITA
• Must hold a Certificate of Qualification (if applying as a journeyman)
