Job summary

APOTEX, a Canadian-based global health company headquartered in Toronto, seeks a Facilities Technician to operate, maintain and repair building systems and utilities across production, packaging, laboratory, warehouse and office areas.

You will troubleshoot, calibrate and modify complex systems (HVAC, boilers, chillers, dust collectors, air compressors and purified water) while ensuring compliance with GMP, SOPs and safety standards; document work in CMMS and coordinate with contractors to

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years operating and maintaining complex industrial building systems (HVAC, boilers, chillers).
Ability to read architectural, mechanical, and electrical drawings.
Trade certification and 3rd/4th Class Operating Engineer certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

Operate building systems to provide reliable environmental conditions for production and offices.
Troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate building systems.
Carry out preventative maintenance tasks.
Document work in CMMS and update drawings and files.
Coordinate repairs with facilities staff and contractors to minimize downtime.
Ensure GMP, SOPs and safety standards are followed.
Support continuous improvements with the team.
