Job summary

1Click Energy Solutions in Ottawa, Ontario is seeking a reliable HVAC Install Helper to support our residential installation projects. You will work alongside experienced technicians to assist with heat pumps, HVAC equipment, and related systems.

You will handle equipment, run linesets, wiring, ductwork, and participate in jobsite prep while using basic hand and power tools. A strong work ethic and teamwork are essential, with opportunities to advance into an Installer or Technician role.

Qualifications

• HVAC experience is an asset, but not required.
• Comfortable working with hand and power tools.
• Physically capable of lifting equipment and working in attics, basements, crawlspaces.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the installation of residential heat pumps and HVAC equipment
• Help with equipment handling, loading/unloading, and jobsite preparation
• Assist with running linesets, drain lines, wiring, ductwork and other installation components
• Use basic hand and power tools
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe jobsite
• Assist technicians with troubleshooting and equipment commissioning
• Follow installation procedures, safety requirements and manufacturer specifications
• Communicate professionally with homeowners and team members
• Complete required job documentation and photos
• Perform other duties required to keep installations moving efficiently

The Role

As an HVAC Install Helper, you’ll work alongside experienced HVAC technicians and installers to support residential installations from start to finish.

• Reliable, punctual and willing to learn
