Job summary

Ditech Testing is seeking a proactive Human Resources Manager to shape the workforce strategy and support growth. Join a team reporting to the Director of HR with dotted line to VP of Operations, guiding people initiatives in a high-performance environment.

Responsibilities include talent acquisition, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and HR operations. A degree in HR or related field plus 5–7 years of experience are preferred, with CPHR as a strong asset.

Qualifications

  • Requires degree or diploma in Human Resources or related field; CPHR designation is a strong asset.
  • 5–7 years of progressive HR experience; strategic partner to leadership.
  • Experience in fast-paced manufacturing, logistics, or industrial services is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Canadian employment legislation; cross-border experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead talent acquisition, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, compensation, training, and compliance.
  • Partner with leadership on workforce planning and organizational development.
  • Ensure compliance with labour laws across jurisdictions Ditech operates in; advise on investigations and conflict resolution.
  • Oversee HRIS, benefits administration, employee records, and reporting.

The role

The Human Resources Manager will play a critical role in supporting the company’s continued growth by championing its people strategy, enhancing organizational effectiveness, and building a strong, values-driven culture. This role calls for a hands-on, strategic thinker—someone with the emotional intelligence to foster trust and collaboration, and the operational savvy to develop scalable HR systems and processes. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for people, a drive for results, and the ability to navigate and influence in a fast-paced, high-performance environment. Working closely with the Ditech leadership team, the Human Resources Manager will report to the Director of HR, Manchester / Ditech with a dotted line to the VP of Operations, Ditech.

What you’ll be doing:
People & Culture Leadership
  • Lead all aspects of human resources including talent acquisition, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, compensation, training, and compliance.
  • Champion a culture of safety, engagement, and accountability by aligning HR practices with company values and operational goals.
  • Develop and implement initiatives that enhance employee retention, morale, and professional growth.
Strategic HR Planning
  • Partner with the leadership team to support workforce planning, organizational development, and succession planning.
  • Evaluate and evolve HR policies, procedures, and systems to support operational excellence.
Compliance & Risk Management
  • Ensure adherence to provincial, federal, and cross-border labour laws and employment standards across all jurisdictions in which Ditech operates.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on employee relations issues, investigations, and conflict resolution.
Talent Development
  • Lead training and development programs that build team capabilities and support career progression.
  • Lead performance review and feedback processes that promote accountability and continuous improvement.
HR Operations & Administration
  • Oversee HRIS, benefits administration, employee files, and internal reporting.
  • Continuously improve HR operational processes to drive efficiency and scalability.
