Job summary

RIMAP Hospitality in Montreal is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to support recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and the overall employee experience across a portfolio of hotels. The role partners with operational leaders to foster an engaging, performance-driven culture in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

  • College or university diploma in human resources, hotel management, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a human resources role.
  • Excellent command of both French and English, spoken and written.
  • Strong knowledge of Quebec labour laws, including unionized environments.
  • Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in hospitality, food and beverage, or another service-driven environment is an asset.
  • Experience with hotel openings, pre-openings, or operational launches is an asset.
  • Knowledge of a third language or comfort working with HR data is an asset.

  • Assist managers with employee relations matters and conflict resolution.
  • Participate in union discussions and health and safety files.
  • Maintain employee files with accuracy and discretion.
  • Support administration of compensation and employee benefits.
  • Draft and update job descriptions, employment contracts, and HR documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with Quebec labour laws and safety practices.
  • Contribute to strategic projects supporting growth.
  • Participate in the MOD program as needed.
  • Foster a safe, engaging, and performance-driven work environment.

Position Summary

Reporting to the appropriate leadership team, the Human Resources Manager is a key member of the management team and plays an active role in supporting recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and overall employee experience. This role is ideal for an HR professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced hospitality environment and partnering closely with operational leaders to support team success.

What You Will Do
