Position Scope
We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented, and highly organized HR & Payroll Coordinator to join our team. This role will be responsible for managing payroll functions, supporting HR operations, maintaining accurate employee records, and ensuring compliance with employment standards. The ideal candidate is professional, adaptable, and possesses a strong sense of ownership and responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support in a full spectrum of Human Resources functions, including recruitment & selection, compensation & benefits administration, employee relations & communications, training, etc.
- Process bi-weekly payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy, compliance with employment regulations, and adherence to internal policies.
- Maintain and update payroll records, including employee deductions, benefits, and tax filings.
- Perform regular payroll audits and reconciliations to ensure data accuracy and promptly resolve any discrepancies.
- Work closely with the HR Manager to ensure smooth and efficient payroll and HR operations.
- Administer employee benefits programs and assist employees with related inquiries.
- Prepare and analyze a variety of HR reports, including headcount, retention, and organizational charts.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases (e.g. HRIS).
- Respond promptly to employee inquiries, escalating issues when necessary.
- Assist in the communication and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Carry out any other ad-hoc projects as required.
Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of hands-on experience in HR and payroll administration.
- Experience working with HRIS platforms; working knowledge of ADP Workforce Now is a strong asset.
- Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to multi-task and handle confidential information with discretion.
- Demonstrates a high level of integrity, strong work ethic, and professionalism.
- A collaborative team player who is cheerful, stable, well-organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Cantonese or Mandarin is an asset.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, adaptable, and solution-oriented mindset.
- Immediate availability is preferred.
