About The Position

Our Human Resources team is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator at our Headquarters in London, Ontario, for a 6-month contract. You will be responsible for full-cycle recruitment of 100+ contract employees at the London Distribution Centre.

How You’ll Make a Difference
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment process for the Distribution Centre, including candidate screening, interviewing, selection, and onboarding.
  • Lead new employee orientation sessions, including reviewing and compiling documents, communicating with candidates and new hires, and facilitating company policies, AODA, and Health and Safety training.
  • Organize and execute hiring events to meet headcount requirements.
  • Support HR functions for the Canada business, such as managing employee requests, updating records, preparing reports in Workday (e.g., headcount, turnover, training), and coordinating HR projects like wellness initiatives, training, and engagement surveys.
  • Partner with the HR team to ensure compliance with provincial and federal regulations.
  • Assist employees and managers with daily transactional needs to improve the employee experience.
  • Maintain and manage confidential employee information professionally.
You Are
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and analytical skills.
  • Effective communicator in one-on-one and group settings.
  • Capable of building positive relationships with employees.
  • Diplomatic and discreet when handling sensitive information.
  • Able to work under deadlines and adapt to changing environments.
  • Self-motivated, versatile, and able to work independently or collaboratively.
  • Keen knowledge of Canadian Employment Law, Provincial Standards, Labour Regulations, and Human Rights.
You Have
  • Two to three years of HR experience, especially in recruitment; high-volume experience is an asset.
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Human Resources.
  • CHRP designation or actively pursuing it.
  • Experience with Workday (HRIS).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

The hourly wage range for this position is $21-$26/hour.
