Opportunity

We’re looking for a proactive, detail-oriented HR Coordinator to join our passionate and collaborative team. This small but growing, high-performance HR team offers an excellent opportunity to learn and grow your career in a fun, fast-paced environment. In this role, you’ll play a key part in shaping the employee experience by supporting core HR programs and processes that help our people thrive. From recruitment and onboarding to employee engagement and data management, you’ll be involved in the full employee life cycle—while gaining hands-on experience across all areas of human resources.

How You'll Contribute

Human Resources Administration & Support

  • Provide administrative support for HR programs, policies, and procedures.

  • Assist with maintaining accurate employee records, ensuring compliance with organizational and legal requirements.

  • Manage data entry and reporting in the HRIS system (BambooHR), as directed by leadership.

  • Assist in the creation and management of employee documentation, including contracts, performance reviews, and training records.

  • Maintain the integrity and accuracy of HR data, including assisting with audits and governance activities.

  • Schedule payroll bi-weekly and support benefit administration tasks, ensuring timely and accurate processing in collaboration with external payroll vendor.

  • Coordinate logistics of HR-related projects, including scheduling meetings, tracking deadlines, and organizing materials.

Employee Engagement

  • Coordinate employee engagement activities and support the Manager, HR in organizing events that promote a positive work culture.

  • Assist in the coordination of employee committees, including scheduling, minutes and action log tracking.

  • Gather and analyze employee feedback through surveys and provide actionable insights to improve employee satisfaction and retention.

  • Assist in implementing the organization’s recognition and professional development programs, ensuring all activities align with organizational program guidelines.

  • Contribute to internal communication initiatives by drafting and/or distributing HR-related updates, newsletters, and announcements.

Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Manage recruitment activities, including posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.

  • Support the onboarding process for new hires by coordinating orientation sessions, preparing onboarding materials, and ensuring smooth integration into the team.

  • Facilitate the offboarding process for employees in coordination with leadership, including collecting company property, and ensuring appropriate documentation is completed.

What You'll Bring to the Team

  • Undergraduate Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in an HR support role (similar to a Coordinator or Generalist).
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems -- BambooHR experience is considered an asset.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with an attention to detail.
  • A foundational understanding of HR functions like recruitment, employee relations, and benefits administration.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) - Microsoft 365 is considered an asset.
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating well with others.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Clear Background Check.
  • Driver’s License & access to personal vehicle.
