ENWIN Utilities Ltd. is seeking a Human Resources Co-op Student for a 4-month, in-office assignment in Windsor. You will assist with recruitment, learning management, and reporting while gaining real-world HR experience. The position reports to the Manager, People and Culture.

Hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 am–4:30 pm. Applicants must be enrolled in a university/college Coop program, with HR focus preferred, and possess strong research, writing, and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

  • Current enrolment in a university or college Business Administration Coop program.
  • Concentration or focus within Human Resources is preferred.
  • Strong research, accuracy, communication and writing skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with SharePoint and Canva is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Participating in the recruitment life cycle.
  • Maintaining the integrity of Learning Management training system.
  • Producing key performance indicators of Attendance Management Program.
  • Assisting with special projects including researching and developing reports.
  • Supporting Corporate Social and Wellness Programs with event materials and initiatives.

ENWIN Utilities Ltd., is currently accepting applications for the position of

Human Resources Co-op Student (4 months)

($21.82 per hour, includes 4% vacation pay)

Reporting to the Manager, People and Culture, the successful applicant will provide a range of general recruitment, engagement, and administrative support within the Human Resources Department.

The hours of work for this in-office position are Monday through Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm.

Duties include but are not limited to the following:

  • Participating in the recruitment life cycle.
  • Maintaining the integrity of our Learning Management training system.
  • Producing key performance indicators of the Attendance Management Program.
  • Assisting with various special projects including researching and developing reports.
  • Supporting Corporate Social and Wellness Programs including brainstorming ideas, creating promotional event materials, and implementing initiatives.

The successful applicant must possess the following qualifications:

  • Current enrolment in a university or college Business Administration Coop program.
  • Concentration or focus within Human Resources is preferred.
  • Strong research, accuracy, communication and writing skills.
  • Experience working with a variety of computer systems including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with Microsoft SharePoint and the Canva graphic design program are considered assets.
