Job summary

Bath Fitter Corporate is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to support manufacturing operations and enhance the employee experience. You will be on the production floor, advising managers on relations, performance, and talent development to drive operational success.

The role requires a hands-on leader with 5+ years in HR within manufacturing, a Bachelor’s in HR, and fluent French communication. Flexible scheduling to support shifts is expected.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Partner with manufacturing and operational leaders to support performance, engagement, and talent development.
• Advise managers on employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary matters.
• Maintain a strong presence on the production floor to understand operational realities.
• Participate in labour relations committee activities and documentation.
• Interpret and apply HR policies and programs with compliance.
• Support investigations, workplace investigations, and admin follow-ups.
• Contribute to recognition, onboarding, and engagement initiatives.

Through a strong on-the-floor presence , you will support managers and employees in employee relations, performance management, engagement initiatives, and talent development. What is the ideal profile for this position?

• You are recognized for your hands-on approach, your ability to build strong relationships, and your passion for supporting both employees and managers.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
• CRHA/CRIA designation or eligibility to obtain it.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar HR role, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
• Availability and flexibility to occasionally adjust your schedule to support operational teams across different shifts when required (day, evening and night).
• Strong leadership, sound judgment, initiative, and the ability to influence in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent French communication skills , both written and verbal.

What will your responsibilities be as a Human Resources Business Partner ?

• Partner with manufacturing and operational leaders to support performance, employee engagement, and talent development objectives.
• Advise managers on employee relations, conflict resolution, performance management, and disciplinary matters.
• Maintain a strong presence on the production floor to understand operational realities and foster a positive work environment.
• Participate in labour relations committee activities and ensure the required follow-up and documentation.
• Interpret and apply HR policies, programs, and procedures while ensuring compliance and consistency.
• Support investigations, employee matters, and administrative follow-ups when required.
• Contribute to recognition programs, onboarding initiatives, employee engagement activities, and various HR projects.
• Manage workplace injury files and related claims administration.
