DHL Express is looking for a Human Resources Business Partner to join the team. This role will be stationed at our Lachine office with an expectation to travel to other operational facilities in the Eastern region as needed. The role provides Regional HR leadership and strategic business partnership to the Operations and Commercial Sales teams.

How will you contribute to the success of DHL?

As a member of the HR Business Partner team, you will support local strategy and people impact to effectively lead HR functions and be an effective business partner / influencer by :

• Building strong positive relationships at all organization levels to support your Local Area Business needs, HR strategy deployment, and act as a change agent for critical initiatives.
• Providing people management coaching to leaders and contributing to their skill development.
• Partnering with Talent Acquisition to develop a human resources management plan to attract, develop, and retain talent aligned with business objectives.
• Championing performance and talent management processes, including participation in talent reviews and succession planning.
• Acting as the primary contact for Local Union representatives regarding issues related to collective bargaining agreements and labor / management relations.
• Leading investigations on employee and labor relations issues such as harassment and disciplinary matters.
• Partnering with HR Center of Expertise and the business to proactively address grievances, disability management, training, compensation, and employee relations.
• Conducting training for employees and managers on topics like labor relations, attendance management, and anti-harassment.
• Staying current with labor and employment legislation and HR industry developments to ensure best practices.
• Contributing to local and national projects, influencing HR strategies, policies, and procedures.
• Performing other duties as assigned.
