Equinox Gold is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner based in Geraldton, Ontario, on a 7 day in, 7 day out rotation. The role reports to the HR Manager and supports HR operations, policies, onboarding, and employee relations across the site.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the delivery of HR advice, support, solutions, and recommendations to supervisors and employees in a professional, efficient, and practical manner.
• Assist in the development and communication of HR policies and procedures, and produce documents, letters, and other correspondence.
• Contribute to the design of HR programs and initiatives and ensure they are successfully implemented and understood.
• Serve as the site HR point of contact.
• Coordinate and oversee the onboarding process to integrate new hires into the organization.
• Attend and participate in career fairs and recruitment events.
• Provide guidance and support to supervisors and employees on employee relations issues.
• Investigate and help resolve employee complaints and grievances in coordination with the HR manager.
• Conduct exit interviews and provide feedback to management.
• Collaborate with all departments to communicate end of employment.
• Monitor and analyze employee relations trends and recommend proactive measures.
• Perform daily HR duties such as updating employee records, filing and tracking documents, entering data, and scheduling meetings.

Job Summary

Reporting to the Manager of Human Resources, the Human Resources Business Partner will play a key role in supporting HR operations by providing guidance, administrative support, and contributing to the implementation of HR programs and initiatives.

This position is based in Geraldton, Ontario on a 7 day in, 7 day out rotation.

• Collaborate closely with all departments to communicate end of employment.

Required Experience and Skill Set

• 5+ years of relevant Human Resources experience.
• Experience in mining or related industry is an asset.

The salary range for this position is from$100,966.00 to $123,403.00.
