Primary Responsibilities :
- Assist with day-to-day human resources functions for the Vancouver corporate office, and work closely with HR teams at Silvercorp Group’s overseas offices to provide support.
- Respond to internal and external HR inquiries and requests, providing assistance as needed.
- Support full-cycle recruitment, including conducting interviews, verifying work history and references, and tracking candidates.
- Maintain all physical and electronic HR records, including payroll, personal information, leaves, and turnover rates, ensuring all employment requirements are met.
- Assist in preparing and delivering internal communications, gather and analyze HR metrics, and administer HR materials.
- Schedule meetings, interviews, HR events, and maintain the team’s agenda.
- Stay updated on HR trends and best practices, and assist in ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Participate in external and internal audits related to HR.
- Support immigration and relocation matters, including orientations and onboarding for new hires.
- Assist in optimizing organizational structure and developing job profiles and bands.
- Help create training programs and oversee talent development initiatives.
- Support role clarity, performance assessments, and updates to the company's compensation plans.
- Produce reports on HR activities and contribute to ad-hoc HR projects, including employee feedback collection.
Requirements :
- A university degree or college diploma in human resources management or a related field such as business administration, industrial relations, commerce, psychology, or completion of a professional HR program.
- Highly organized, efficient, and capable of multi-tasking.
- Ability to handle stressful situations and follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent collaboration and listening skills, with initiative and independence when needed.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Effective decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines with attention to detail.
