Job description

Are you an HR Generalist or Admin Assistant with HR acumen looking for an opportunity to support a dedicated team of Healthcare Professionals working in remote northern communities of Canada? The Bayshore HR Assistant works in a hybrid capacity from our Cornwall office (3 days in office and 2 days from home), completing day-to-day administrative tasks and activities, and collaborating with various business groups within the branch on relevant business initiatives.

What You Will Do
  1. Management and maintenance of employee HR files, ensuring all required documentation, professional registrations, and other materials are relevant, up-to-date, and handled with confidentiality and discretion.
  2. Database tracking of multiple systems.
  3. Maintain past employee human resources files in conjunction with the designated supervisor/manager.
  4. Triage payroll and benefits-related inquiries and assist employees in completing forms.
  5. Assist Clinical Managers with administrative tasks and responsibilities.
What You Bring
  1. Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to handle difficult situations objectively and consistently.
  2. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  3. Proficiency in keyboarding and Windows software, with extensive experience in MS Office and Excel. Experience with UKG Software is an asset.
  4. Completion of a recognized HR certification is an asset.
