Carrier Sekani Family Services in Prince George, BC, is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to act as the first point of contact for HR queries within a designated portfolio.

You will advise leaders on BC Employment Standards, Human Rights Legislation and WorkSafe BC, support performance management and progressive discipline, lead workplace investigations, and help drive change management using HR best practices.

• Bachelor's Degree in HR Management or equivalent.
• Five plus years in a Human Resources role.
• CPHR designation preferred.
• Registered Professional Recruiter designation an asset.
• A combination of education and experience may be considered.

• Provide advice to leaders of all levels regarding BC Employment Standards, Human Rights Legislation and WorkSafe BC compliance.
• Support and advise managers throughout performance management and progressive discipline processes.
• Support change management processes, whether structural or cultural, with appropriate HR best practices so that changes are smooth and embedded effectively.
• Lead internal workplace investigations and recommend solutions for employee relations issues.
• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent
• Five plus years experience in a Human Resources role
• Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation preferred
• Registered Professional Recruiter Designation an asset
• A combination of education and experience may be considered

Wage Range: The target hiring range for this position is $45.91 to $59.45 per hour. Candidates will typically be hired, transferred or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the wage range. Placement within the wage range is dependent on the applicants’ role specific knowledge, skills, abilities, related experience and in consideration of factors such as market conditions and internal equity.
