A leading company in the religious sector is seeking a Human Resources Administrative Assistant to coordinate professional services, manage onboarding processes, and support employee engagement activities. Coordinates professional services of the People Support (PS) department, specifically supporting benefit/FMLA administration, pre-employment, new hire onboarding, and HRIS reporting. Serve as a special projects coordinator. Be prepared to troubleshoot, problem solve, guide, and support Unity's applicants, employees, guests, and visitors.
Education: Associate's Degree in Business or Human Resources preferred; equivalent experience considered. Bachelors preferred.
Experience: At least 2 years in administrative roles; 1 year in HR functions like onboarding and benefits. Problem-solving skills and effective communication are essential. Ability to operate independently and interact at all organizational levels. Knowledge of employment laws is a plus.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience with HRIS systems, including time management modules, preferred.
PHR or SPHR certification is a plus.
Mostly sedentary work with occasional activity, including sitting, using hands, and communication. No significant exposure to hazards or extreme temperatures.
Office setting, conference/training rooms, large campus environment.
