This full-time role involves overseeing talent acquisition, employee relations, and strategic HR initiatives, fostering a high-performance culture. Job Title : Manager, Human Resources Job Location : Job Type : Full-time permanent (100% onsite) Reports to : VP, HR University Degree / Human Resource Management Certificate Must be able to pass controlled goods security assessment The Human Resources Manager leads a team of professionals to ensure the seamless operation of HR functions. This role oversees a full range of HR services, including talent acquisition, onboarding, training and development, performance management, compensation, benefits, pension administration, employee and labor relations, organizational effectiveness, and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives. With a hands-on leadership approach, this role drives HR strategic initiatives, aligns policies and programs with business objectives, and fosters a high-performance, engaged workplace culture. 5+ years of progressive experience in HR and labor relations, with at least 4 years in a management role. ~ Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now, Microsoft Office Suite, and data analysis tools. ~ Strong communication, problem-solving, and project management skills. ~ Excellent project management and time management skills. ~ Partner with the Vice President, Human Resources to drive strategic initiatives, manage budgets, and ensure HR policies, programs, and initiatives align with business objectives. Advise management on performance management, training, development, succession planning, and organizational design. Oversee compensation, benefits, and pension administration, collaborating with Finance to ensure payroll accuracy and salary forecasting. Develop and implement recruitment strategies while driving diversity, equity, inclusion, and cultural initiatives. Ensure compliance with employment legislation, company policies, and HR best practices. Lead HR-related audits and reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements. Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing data-driven insights and recommendations to enhance employee engagement and retention. Registration with the Controlled Goods Program is mandatory for any person examining, possessing or transferring controlled goods in Canada. To register with the Controlled Goods Program, you must meet the following requirements : Must be either a Permanent Resident or Canadian Citizen.
