Job summary

Magil Construction in London, Ontario and surrounding area seeks an HSEQ Advisor to support multiple construction projects. You will promote a strong safety culture and work with site supervision, field staff, subcontractors and management.

Responsibilities include site inspections, identifying hazards, assisting with investigations, conducting toolbox talks, and maintaining safety documentation. Travel between sites is required.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Occupational Health & Safety, Construction Management, or a related field is considered an asset.
• 1-3 years of construction safety experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Ontario Occupational Health & Safety Act and construction safety regulations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships on site.
• Confident, approachable, and comfortable working with field teams and subcontractors.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while also contributing within a team environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and general computer applications.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
