Job summary

ALS Geochemistry in North America is seeking an HSE Project Coordinator to lead planning, execution, and tracking of health, safety and environmental initiatives across Canada, the USA, and Mexico.

You will develop project plans, coordinate activities across sites and departments, and prepare management-ready status updates, dashboards and reports. This role supports audits, document control and KPI tracking to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in Occupational Health & Safety.
• Experience in industrial, laboratory, or field operations.
• Experience developing chemical exposure control plans.
• Knowledge of risk assessment methodologies (JHA/JSA, hazard identification, risk ranking).
• Experience multi-site or multi-country operations is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support delivery of HSE projects across North America.
• Develop project plans, timelines, deliverables, milestones, and action trackers for HSE initiatives.
• Coordinate HSE activities across departments, sites, or stakeholders.
• Prepare regular project status updates, reports, dashboards, and presentations.
• Assist with internal audits, inspections, and readiness reviews.
• Maintain HSE document control and rollout across North America operations.
• Track proactive and reactive HSE indicators for reporting to the Regional HSE Manager.
