Velocity Group is seeking a dedicated HSE Advisor to join our Grande Prairie office. You will implement and monitor the HSE Management System, conduct audits, and lead safety training and onboarding efforts for project teams.

Regular field travel and site inspections are required, with focus on incident investigations and emergency preparedness. A minimum of 3 years in HSE and relevant certifications are preferred; MS Office proficiency is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of HSE experience.
• Strong knowledge of HSE legislation and industry best practices.
• Experience with ISNetworld (ISN), Avetta, ComplyWorks, 8 am and Workhub.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean abstract.
• Experience coordinating employee onboarding and safety training programs is asset.
• Knowledge of Joint Health & Safety Committee requirements preferred.
• Oilfield safety certifications are asset.

Responsabilités

• Implement, manage, and monitor the HSE Management System.
• Conduct HSE audits and risk assessments for compliance.
• Develop project-specific HSE documentation.
• Site tours and inspections to ensure safe work practices.
• Travel regularly to field locations and project sites.
• Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Plan and coordinate emergency response and crisis management.
• Drive continuous improvement of HSE standards.
• Coordinate onboarding, safety orientations, and training.
• Support JHSC meetings and maintain records.
