The Opportunity

The HR Systems and Process Specialist role is a key position within the HR Enablement team in Canada, reporting to the Senior HR Systems Specialist. This role supports HR operations, data management, system functionality, reporting, compliance, and time-off management. It also involves improving talent operational effectiveness by formalizing and enhancing end-to-end processes. The role collaborates with various stakeholders across the firm, including recruitment, payroll, total rewards, operations, IT, and liaises with EY’s third-party provider (IBM). The position is open to any Canadian office location.

Your Key Responsibilities
HR Data Management
  • Manage HR data within SuccessFactors (Onboarding, Employee Central, Time-Off modules).
  • Maintain data interdependencies between SuccessFactors and other systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Payroll).
  • Manage foundational data creation and updates.
  • Audit and analyze data for integrity, collaborating with employees and Managed Services (IBM) for resolution.
  • Support large data activities like mass uploads, salary changes, and hires.
Project Implementation
  • Assist with project configurations, testing, and documentation (Quick Guides, Work Instructions).
  • Support various projects and initiatives, such as acquisitions, vacation programs, and data collection efforts.
Process Documentation
  • Document process changes and update related materials.
  • Participate in meetings to understand scope and impacts.
  • Contribute recommendations for process improvements.
Day-to-Day Talent Operations
  • Support talent operations like vacation tools, provisioning, and compliance sites.
  • Act as Level 2 support in ServiceNow for HR systems.
  • Maintain knowledge content (SharePoint, policy repositories).
  • Analyze impacts of system upgrades and releases.
  • Produce reports as needed.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 1-2 years in HR systems administration and operations.
  • Experience with SuccessFactors is a plus.
