Job summary

Marine Atlantic is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to join our Human Resources Department in North Sydney, NS for a six-month term. You will provide comprehensive coordination and administrative support to the Recruitment Team under the Director People and Culture.

Responsibilities include coordinating full cycle recruitment using SAP SuccessFactors, managing interview schedules across time zones, collaborating with training, safety, and equity programs, and developing recruitment metrics

Qualifications

• Degree from a recognized university in a relevant field
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience
• OR a combination of equivalent education, training, and work experience in a relevant position

Responsibilities

• Supports and coordinates the full cycle recruitment process using SAP SuccessFactors Recruitment Module.
• Coordinates high volume interview schedules and logistics across multiple time zones.
• Works with the training and development team in relation to testing and training of new employees.
• Coordinates and represents the organization at Career Fairs and Community Events.
• Coordinates and represents the organization at equity, diversity and inclusion events both internally and externally.
• Improves and coordinates relevant metrics for recruitment.
• Assists in providing research, analysis, reporting and recommended actions.
• Promotes a safe and psychologically safe working environment.
