Job summary

Anyware Robotics is seeking an HR Generalist to support recruiting, HR operations, onboarding, and employee engagement in a fast-growing startup. You’ll partner with the People Ops Lead to build scalable processes and use AI tools to automate routine tasks.

You’ll manage full-cycle recruiting for engineers, roboticists, and business professionals, maintain ATS data, and contribute to benefits, payroll, and performance management while upholding California employment laws and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 1–3 years of experience in an HR Generalist, People Ops or telennt requisition role.
• Hands-on recruiting experience, including ATS and HRIS tools.
• Experience supporting benefits, payroll, performance management, or employee relations.
• Working knowledge of California employment law and compliance requirements.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Uses AI tools to automate routine work and improve efficiency.
• Self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity and frequently changing priorities.
• Passion for building teams and fostering a collaborative, mission-driven, high-performance workplace.

Responsibilities

• Support full-cycle recruiting for engineers, roboticists, and business professionals — from job postings and sourcing through interview coordination, offers, and handoff to onboarding.
• Maintain strong candidate pipelines for current and future hiring needs; keep candidate information and hiring progress accurate and up to date in our Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
• Deliver a responsive, professional candidate experience that reflects Anyware’s culture.
• Support employer branding initiatives (careers page, job postings, social content, events) that position Anyware as a top workplace for robotics and AI talent.
• Support employee relations, benefits administration, payroll coordination, performance management, and day-to-day HR administration.
• Maintain accurate employee records in our HRIS, support compliance with California and federal employment requirements, and take on other projects as priorities change.
• Streamline People systems and workflows, using automation and AI where it helps.
• Run a seamless onboarding experience that helps new hires get productive quickly and feel part of the team from day one.
• Drive engagement through regular feedback, recognition programs, team-building events, and off-sites.
